Alcohol free perfumes
What are Janak alcohol free perfumes?
They are alcohol free apparel sprays in 100 ml bottles, made by Janak Perfumers in Rajkot. The range has eight fragrances: Connect, Gen-X, Perspective, Oud, Rose, Sandalwood, Kesar and Mogra.
Do the sprays contain alcohol?
No. They are alcohol free, which is why many families choose them for pooja and daily worship.
How do I use an alcohol free apparel spray?
Spray from a distance of 15–20 cm on clothes or fabric. The sprays are made for clothes and fabric only.
Can I spray it on my skin or face?
No. Do not spray on skin or face. The sprays are for external use on clothes and fabric only.
Can I use them for pooja?
Yes. Because they contain no alcohol, many families use them in the pooja space, on clothes and fabric. Always spray away from diyas, lamps and open flames, because the sprays are flammable.
What cautions are printed on the pack?
External use only. Do not spray on skin or face. Flammable. Keep away from heat. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
What is the shelf life of a spray?
The best before period is 36 months. The batch number and manufacturing date are printed on the bottom of the pack.

Are the sprays the same as Janak roll-on perfumes?
No. Roll-on perfumes are a separate range, used as directed on their own pack. The alcohol free apparel sprays are for clothes and fabric only.
Incense sticks and dhoop
What incense products does Janak make?
Incense sticks (agarbatti), dhoop sticks and dhoop cups (sambrani cups), in a range of fragrances and pack sizes. Each product page lists the fragrance notes and pack details.
Can I use Janak incense for pooja?
Yes. Our incense sticks and dhoop are made for prayer, pooja and meditation, and for fragrancing your home.
How do I burn an incense stick safely?
Place the stick in a suitable holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface that catches the ash. Light the tip, gently extinguish the flame and allow it to smoulder. Use in a well-ventilated space, away from children, pets and flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended.
How do I use dhoop cups?
Place the cup on a suitable heat-resistant burner on a stable surface and follow the lighting instructions on the pack. Keep the burner still while it is hot and let it cool completely before handling. Never leave burning dhoop unattended.
How long does one stick burn?
Burn time depends on the product, so each product page gives an approximate figure. The actual burn time varies with conditions such as airflow.
Which Janak incense is charcoal free?
Charcoal free products say so in the product name and details, for example Janak Lily Charcoal Free Incense Sticks 50g.
Where is Janak incense made?
Janak Perfumers is based in Rajkot, Gujarat, and has been making fragrance there since 1962.

Where do you ship?

Can I return a product?
Janak products are non-returnable. If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, or with an item missing, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos. See our Returns and refunds policy.
